Meeting of the Katowice Lodge of the BCC in STALPROFIL SA

At the meeting of the Katowice Lodge of the Business Center Club at STALPROFIL SA, there were members of the Lodge together with the Chancellor of the Katowice Lodge - Eugeniusz Budniok. The mayor of Dąbrowa Górnicza, Marcin Bazylak was the special guest.

STALPROFIL presented the invited guests with a presentation on the investment plans of the STALPROFIL SA Capital Group, market position and development strategy, which includes:

• improvement of logistics processes, acceleration of unloading and loading of steel, building a competitive advantage based on modern infrastructure (high-bay warehouses), logistic efficiency and comprehensive commercial offer,
• changing the structure of the commercial offer of manufactured steel structures with an emphasis on the increase in the share of high-margin machine structures, the use of modern technologies in the process of building machine structures, including laser cutting of sheet metal and robotization of the welding process,
• participation in the implementation of large projects, such as the FSRU terminal (natural gas re-gasification hub), connections of the national transmission system with the transit gas pipeline system and new connections of power plants and combined heat and power plants,
• preparation for the changes that the gas market will surely await. After the reduction of domestic investments in the construction of new high-pressure gas transmission pipelines, expected in a few years, it will be necessary to redirect the Group's activity to the construction of distribution gas pipelines and to the transmission of the fuel of the future - hydrogen. Entry into new foreign markets for insulated pipes.

The Mayor of the City of Dąbrowa Górnicza, Marcin Bazylak, gave a presentation on development plans and promotion of the City and the amenities offered for local business.

The President of the Management Board of the Katowice Special Economic Zone, Janusz Michałek, presented the investment opportunities and facilities in the area of ​​the subzone in this location.

The session of the Council of the Katowice Lodge of the BCC began with a film commemorating the late Marek Goliszewski, CEO and founder of BCC. The previous and future activities of the Lodge were discussed, as well as the fields for cooperation with the City of Dąbrowa Górnicza and local business.

At the meeting, the BCC award for STALPROFIL SA was also presented - Diamond to the Golden Statuette of Polish Business Leader.
