Conclusion of a contract for the construction of a high-storage warehouse hall in the Commercial Warehouse in Dąbrowa Górnicza

The Management Board of STALPROFIL SA informs that on June 19, 2023, the Company concluded an agreement with PBM Mostostal Będzin sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Będzin, the subject of which is the general contracting for the construction of a high storage warehouse with an adjacent reloading hall and the necessary technical infrastructure, which is an integral part of the investment carried out by the Company entitled: "Construction of an automatic high-bay warehouse in the Commercial Warehouse B in Dąbrowa Górnicza (MWS B)".
The net value of construction and assembly works covered by the concluded agreement is PLN 21,950,000. The commencement of construction works will take place before July 1, 2023, and the entire investment is planned to be completed by the end of 2024.
The investment project implemented by the Company, including the construction of an automatic high-storage warehouse with a capacity of approx. 12 tonnes of metallurgical products, is the next stage of the long-term program of expansion and modernization of the Company's warehouse and logistics infrastructure. The total value of outlays on the above-mentioned investment, together with outlays on the purchase of equipment for the automated system for storing metallurgical products, IT and other infrastructure, is estimated at a net amount not exceeding PLN 45,000,000.
The construction of MWS B in Dąbrowa Górnicza should have a positive impact on the Company's future revenues in the steel segment as a result of:
- introducing new assortments of metallurgical products to the commercial offer,
- shortening the time of completing deliveries,
- greater automation and computerization of the customer service process.
